The “Unforgettables” collection is the very first 13C collection to be released! But why “Unforgettable?”
The Unforgettables Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps families that have lost a child with the expenses that are needed to give their child a dignified burial. One of their missions is to empower communities to remember these children and to bring awareness to the needs of the families’ traumas in dealing with their children’s unexpected deaths.
This organization holds special meaning to us, as we lost our baby sister, Sariah, when she was only a couple months old. The shock and the pain at her passing rocked our entire world. It was only through the love and support of many friends and family, and many who we are not even aware contributed, that we were able to give her the memorial and burial she deserved, and words alone are not enough to express our gratitude for each of them. Being able to pay that forward by contributing to The Unforgettables Foundation is one of the ways we can not only keep our angel Sariah a part of our journey, but also help other families who have also found themselves in such devastating shoes.
From June 1st to June 30th, we plan to donate a percentage of our sales here to The Unforgettables Foundation because we believe their mission and feel the impact they are trying to make in society, and we hope that you all can show your support not just for us, but for them and the cause they choose to work for. With each of our collection releases, we plan to highlight a local non-profit for which to donate 10% of our proceeds in the first month of its release. Each collection will reflect the name of the organization we highlight because we want to bring visibility to the good they are spreading, and if it inspires you in some way to get involved with them or any of the local organizations in your area, that’s even better! We love working together!
